PRESENT

It's Monday, the first day of the week at 7 am in the morning in Knightsbridge, London. A regular morning in one of the prestigious apartment residences in London which is the One Hyde Park Residential apartment. Where the 10th and 11th floor is owned by elites. Therefore in 1001 apartment no, all the maids are running here and there to complete their task beforehand so that their owner is happy with them.

"Careful everyone, it's 7:05 am she will be down in 25 mins. Carol place her breakfast warm and nice at 7:29 am sharp. Not a minute late or early, got it!" This is Martha. She is the head housemaid of this penthouse, everything in this house is under her supervision. All the pre decisions are taken by her and then it goes to the final stage.

Currently it's 7:15 am and a beautiful wheatish skin girl is straightening her dark brown locks. Picking up an eye liner she drew beautiful wing strokes on her eyelids, which enhances her upturned eyes. Applying a little bit of pink swoon color MAC blush on her dimpled cheeks. Lastly a Fenty Icon Velvet lipstick on her beautiful plump lips is like a cherry on top. Wearing her DateDust Rolex 31 studded Diamond watch on her dainty wrist which showed 7:25 in it. With that she carried her Saffiano Leather Prada bag and exited her bedroom. As she was crossing her living room somebody called her from behind.

She turned towards the source of voice, her dark brown copper hair flipped when she turned. And there she is Avantika Aarya Raichand.

"My love, your breakfast? You still have 30 mins for your office. Where are you running of too?" Martha questioned Avantika with a concerned look. A beautiful smile formed on Avu's face, so she went towards Martha and guided her towards the dining table while side hugging her.

"Yes yes I have 30 mins and I'll have breakfast but only if you will have with me. Deal?" Sweet blackmailing Martha into her talk so that her housemaid who is like her mother will have no choice but to have with her so that she doesn't leave on an empty stomach.

With a defeated sigh Martha and Avu had their blissful breakfast. Avu left to her office but only after kissing Martha's cheeks to which Martha responded with a forehead kiss.

TIME SKIP

AVANTIKA'S POV

I'm sitting in my cabin and having my coffee, it shows 10 am currently. I was looking at the breathtaking scenery from my office, it's calm yet lively. That's how love is as well. It makes you want to lose yourself in the calmness and yet it allows you to live it to fullest. It is a very delicate feeling, Love! It happens in a spur of the moment or sometimes it takes forever to find. But if one fine day you find it just don't think about it. Whether it is right or wrong, is it meant to be or you can maintain it forever. I'll be honest nothing is forever, even the life you are living, and the air you are breathing is not forever. Everything has a full stop.

Life and people they teach you a lot. How to be alone? Or how to enclose yourself in those four walls which you have built around yourself so that no one can enter in it. I did that mistake, my life's one and only biggest mistake, I let him stomp over every ounce of feeling, respect and love I had for him. My childhood best-friend, "My Vee."

I walk back towards my office desk to start my day with my coffee but God has different plans and here my dear friend Ruhi barged into my office.

"Where the hell did you disappear yesterday?" said Ruhi more like interrogated me.

Ignoring her question I answered her very nicely "Well Good Morning, to you Miss Ruhi Bhardwaj".  And now I have angered the bull, there she stands pointing her finger at me which is equal to a gun pointed at me. "Excuse me Miss Avantika Aarya Raichand don't you do first name chalbaazi even I can do that and also answer my question, dare you deflect me with your sweet talking".

[Chalbaazi = Cleverness]

Sometimes I question her energy like she is just 155 cm, a small penguin which has the audacity to burst your eardrums with the pressure of 100 kPa.

Just a knowledge for my dear readers,"A P50 for humans of 100 kPa and a threshold of 35 kPa has been used widely in blast criteria. A recent study suggests a threshold (P1) of about 20 kPa, and gives the overpressures required to produce minor, moderate, and major eardrum ruptures."

"Ya ya don't butter me up" sassily replied Author Zee.

"You can be less rude to me you know that right?" Scratch that 'my fav author' Huh! If she can be sassy then I can be sassier.

"Talk about rude! You are forgetting you are my greatest friend/ actress. And I'm just bearing all this because I love you too much, Okay!!!" "Also sorry readers, you may continue reading this is normal between us ;)"

(SO CONTINUING...)

"Nowhere! I just left to my penthouse, I was tired and I had meeting to attend today with the investors for the upcoming new hospital" replied to my dearest friend whose frown now turned into confusion.

"Umm ok, but wasn't the meeting next week as the CEO was not available this week?" Questioned me.

To which I responded to my not so attentive best-friend, "Yes I had a meeting the HOD and Manager of Aveera Constructions, they said their CEO got stuck with some personal issues so he will arrive soonest by the end of this week". When I heard the name Aveera it just stirred some emotions within me, took me back to my past or I say my haunted past where everything got destroyed and started. I left everything back then because of that one decision I left my mom and dad 7 years ago. Even my younger brother and partner in crime My Yuv... funny how everything is today just because of somebody else's happiness I sacrificed my family as well.

My thoughts were broken by my dearest bestfriend Ruhi, I thought she will also leave but 6 years ago when she helped me even when I was rude to her, she still stuck by me.

FLASHBACK TO 5 YEARS AGO

AUTHOR'S POV

A random girl at a bar in London on her 12th vodka shot, if she is not mistaken. The girl was none other than Avantika Raichand drowning herself so she could forget all the pain that one person gave her, whom she never thought even in her wildest dream that could hurt her, insult her.  And even that was not enough he questioned her for something she could never do.

"Why me? What have I done so bad that you questioned 21 years of friendship, a bond created when we were born, we were childhood buddies Vee! You questioned me, blamed me for something that I never did. I loved you with all I had and this what you gave me? It's hollow here (pointing towards her heart)"

Somebody sat beside her and questioned her "True Na! Love hurts you so much? Happened with me as well but different circumstances, he made fun of my love".

Avantika just stared at the stranger and when she didn't replied, the person made an eye contact with her and smiled. It's been a year somebody gave a genuine smile to Avantika. Not to embarrass herself avantika replied to her in a rude way so that she can peacefully drink her sorrows and go back to her penthouse. But guess what God had different plans that day, he wanted to give a new friend to his dear Avantika.

"It's bad to eavesdrop on somebody's conversation and I didn't ask about you life's tragedy, so please give me some space as I'm not interested in you or your sad/ romantic love life" with that Avantika started to pay the bartender and was about to move out but got stopped by what she heard next from the stranger.

"Firstly I was not eavesdropping because you were speaking in public and secondly talking to somebody will not heal you but will actually help you to move. And in this process you find a friend then it's not bad, I'll be honest to you. I had no one to share with when i was going through a heartbreak and as you said I was all alone in my sad/ romantic life"

Now here our poor Avantika was more embarrassed, so trying to clear her embarrassment she was now a little less rude to the stranger and got back to her seat. Seeing her silent the stranger order 1 set of 6 vodkas. This time Avantika started the conversation by apologizing to her "Umm firstly I'm sorry that I was rude to you, its just been a long time that I had a genuine heart to heart talk with anybody".

To that the stranger kept a stoic expression and waited for her to continue. "So, what is your name if you would like to share?" because now our Avantika was doubtful that the stranger wants to talk at all.

But to her surprise not only did the stranger replied but offered her 3 glasses of vodka as well "My name is Ruhi Bhardwaj but friends call me Ruh, also I can forgive you if I know your name". Avantika smiled at her and replied "My name is Avantika Raichand, so am I forgiven?".

All of a sudden Ruhi laughed out so loud that some heads turned her way but does she care no! "Yes yes Avu you are forgiven" with a thumbs up Ruhi replied.

Avantika softly smiled at her as it has been a year long gap where somebody called her from the nickname which her Maa use to call her from.

Her chain of thought were broken by her new friend sitting beside her "Where are you lost Avu? I must say you zone out a lot, haan! Matlab I get Husn pari bethi hai saamne but you don't have to be so obvious, okay."

[Yes! I mean, I understand that a beautiful fairy is sitting in front of you]

She is one unique piece that's what Avantika thought, but what can you say that friendship combo is Tallie + Shortie, where tallie is rude, calculative, all-time serious and then there is the shortie whose literally opposite of whatever tallie is. She is funny, sunshine, and unpredictable.

So you see that's how Avantika Raichand met Ruhi Bhardwaj. From that day onwards she became her bestfriend, who literally barged into our Avu's life forcefully and stuck by her till this date.

So ya! That's how are our dear Avu find her Ruh. It's cliche that she found her soul in her bestfriend, "HER RUH"

There is saying, "Sometimes when we help a stranger, we're rewarded with a new friendship"

Because of that incident Avantika forgot what friendship feels like. And she found that bond with Ruhi. It's not about who have known the longest, it's about who walked into your life and said "I'm here for you".
